This week I am proud to announce our blog discussion is for Technology class! Since we voted in class, most of you wanted to do the Fortune Cookie video so that’s what we’ll do. You can find the video on the website Mister Roger’s Neighborhood here.
Watch the video and pay special attention to these key vocabulary words: eggs, flour, cookie batter, food coloring, vanilla, conveyor belt, and fortune. What does the food coloring do? What does “fortune” refer to in the name fortune cookie (hint: it has NOTHING to do with money $$$). After watching the video, if you learned any new words post a definition for the new vocabulary word. If you aren’t sure of how to say something you saw in the video, ask your classmates if they know what the word means or “what is the word for…the little paper in the cookie? The white powder they use in the beginning of the video?” etc.

Also, I know some of you wanted to do the guitar video so obviously you can watch the video on your own and if you decide to do so, this website will help you with the terms for the different parts of the guitar. This is of course just for your own personal information—our posts this week are about fortune cookies.

My fortune is: “Happiness isn’t something you remember, it’s something you experience”. I think this is a wise sentence and probably, it’s a chinese proverb. I like this sentence because that is completely true. I think that others sentences in fortune cookies are a bit ridiculous because they are distributed at random and not are specially written for you. Perhaps, they often can come out but that is by sheer chance. I’m not superstitious, I don’t believe in bad or good luck, things happen by a reason, not by luck.

I love this vidio, my cookie says ”The days that make us happy make us wise,”and I love that sentence, I am sometimes superstitious believe in the good or bad luck and fortune but I sometimes I have no good luck and fortune is not always true.

Yes, because when we are happy, everything is more positive and see the things easier to understand.
My fortune is “love will lead the way” I don´t know if it is true, but for me it´s very ridiculous.I think that the video is awesome but i like more the video of the guitars because the process is more elaborated and more interesting, because this video has minus process than the guitar process.
My fortune: Do not Worry About the stock market. Invest in family. I think that fortune cookies are a bit ridiculous, because that will leave messages at random, without any sense to your future or you can pass. I do not know if it’s true all those messages, there might be some that if it is, just by chance.

I am a superstitious person and sometimes this can be done but I really think it’s likely that this is not true because no one knows how you are until you know.

Its meaning is real, because the memories are part of a person’s life. I’m not a superstitious person, because you will need to be.

I think that the fortune or the future can´t be written and predicted in a paper whit security because the fortune and the future may change depends of the decisions of each one and if sometimes occurs writting on the sentences, is by chance. I’m not a skeptical person but sometimes I’m a superstitious person.
My fortune is: Consume less. Share more. Enjoy life.
I think that this sentence takes the whole reason because we should have a humbler life
and of little consumerism. Share with the neediest an at the end of the day we will be satisfied by weselves by have done something good.
A pleasant expeience is ahead:don’t pass it by. That is mine. Let´s see what that experience is!

I think that this sentence is totally true because if you give something good, whatever big or small, to other people , another day you can get something in returns, and when you do this you feel good. I`m not a supertitious person, I dont think that breaking a mirror you have 7 years of bad luck but sentences like this have much reason.
